Unleashing the Fluff

On Saturday 16th November, members participated in the second annual Wrexhammer Festive Rumble. This Warhammer 40k tournament was designed to be a more fun tournament, with players packing away their meta lists and bringing the fluff!

Prizes were presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as best painted army. The tournament saw some fantastic entries, and the club admins particularly enjoyed Patrick's list, "The Deva 1st Royal Horse Guards Scout Platoon". Patrick's list comprised Lord Solar, leading 30 rough riders, Creed in a Chimera for issuing orders, Straken in a Chimera for issuing orders, Sergeant Harker with Straken "because I had spare points" 3x3 armoured sentinels, 1x2 scout sentinel, 2x1 scout sentinel, 3x1 drop sentinels and 3x1 sentinel powerlifters. You can view the rest of the fluffy lists here. There are some corkers! Congratulations to Ash Loftus, on taking first place, Christopher Chedotal, on second and Peter Duff, on third place.

Ash, took home the coveted axe, with thanks going to Danny Denoven, for the construction and outstanding paint job.

Jacob Rand, won the prize for Best Painted, with his Knight Warden, featuring some excellent basing.
