Warhammer 40k
Warhammer 40,000, is a miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is the most popular miniature wargame in the world and is particularly popular in the United Kingdom.
As in other miniature wargames, players enact battles using miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. The playing area is a tabletop model of a battlefield, comprising models of buildings, hills, trees, and other terrain features. Each player takes turns moving their model warriors around the battlefield and fighting their opponent's warriors. These fights are resolved using dice and simple arithmetic.
Getting Started with 40k
A Warhammer collection is unique to each person. How you choose to build up your collection is entirely up to you – whether it’s recreating an epic story because the miniatures look spectacular, or you think they will be enjoyable to paint or play with.
The Club welcomes players of any ability, whether you are a seasoned veteran, or just looking to observe a game to see what it's all about.

Wrexhammer Gaming Club, hosts battles of all sizes, from a 500 points intro game, or Combat Patrol, up to 3,000 points free-for-alls and more.
The Club also organises tournaments where players can face off in a more competitive environment.
